On science and religion

One of the greatest thinkers of all time, Albert Einstein, was asked to give his opinion as to the relationship between science and religion and he said the following:
Science without religion is lame but religion without science is sick"
For many years i toyed around with what could the great man have meant by this simple statement then eventually I arrived at the following conclusion:
It is through scientific thinking and experimentation that man shows that he is a genius and thus a creature of God and not through religious contemplation and writing which in my opinion some time amounts to nothing more that bible bashing. If religious people don’t happen to understand science and its working, they should make it their last duty to make judgement about what is scientific and what is not. If religious people trading under the label of "believers" happen to be offended by some scientific conclusion it is usually due to their own ignorance of science. Modern thinkers who are worthy of their salt don not draw any parallel what so ever between science and religion because one operate on the physical plain whilst the other operates on the metaphysical plain. Anyone who fails to draw a clear difference between the two should not bother himself or herself to give an opinion about either.

Dear Suleiman,
First of all: I do not want to lose you as a friend, unless you intend to. If you have read some scientific books, this does not mean that you are a scientist. You repeat what others say.
If some people have found some bones for a strange/deformed skeleton or creature, this does not mean that Man was Ape. In this case, if they found the remains of the humpback of Notre Dame, they would say that he came from Mars!
Secondly, religion goes along with science: we believe that a creation existed before our very last existing. If you read the first verse in the Bible, which reads: "At the beginning God created the Earth and the Heaven", then it says: "And the Earth was void and empty, and darkness was upon the face of the deep". We believe that there was creation then, and that when the Devil was cast away, he destroyed all the creation of God as an act of revenge! We believe that at that time dinosaurs and other creatures existed.
The Word of God tells us nothing about science or how God created everything. It is just for our salvation, for saving us from the situation we were in. And this is what the Lord Jesus did. He would not judge us according to our scientific knowledge, but according to our belief.
Therefore, our brain is incapable to discover all what happened through the ages. Someone finds a piece of bone, examined it (scientifically) and assumed that this bone goes back to a certain creature millions of years ago. I do not mind. What I refuse to accept, or what offends me, the saying that Man was Ape!
We believe that sin has made all kinds of human deformation! Why not the bones they found were for a deformed human being?! In the jungles man discovered (naked) tribes who look strange (not like us). Besides, the theory of evolution has not been scientifically proved. Most of the European schools have removed this theory from their teaching programmes.

At last, I apologize to you and to Abdallah. I did not mean to offend you but the title of the subject which offended me. Please accept my apology.

apology accepted Abu Julian .

i was really hurt by your statment , now that you said you didn`t mean it , i want to also apologize to my harsh answer .

am not going to discuss the subject with you , because i came to an understanding that , one can change people way of thinking , but he
could never change there beliefs .

I want to say one thing though

God his son and the holey spirit are things said to be greater than human mind to understand, so if you accept that fact you should also accept, that religion and scientific views can also coexist even though they contradict each other , we just don't yet understand the possibility , that they can both be right .

Dear Abdallah,
I've just said that there is no contradiction.
It is right what you said that Trinity is beyond our comprehension. We would not know that if God Himself did not reveal a part of His mystery to us.

Any way, we are on the right path, except for Man being Ape!

We visit today the zoo and when we pass to the shambanzy plase l
really amazed from what l saw.
The way of their sitting
The way of their walking
The way of their eating
and specially when a visitor through a pice of cake to them and it
fall in the pound of the water but they are afraid to fall in the
water.
They think how to get it
and then one of them catch the other on it sholder
and the other stand on the border of the pond and start waving it
hand in the water to make waves in hope to move the cake near to
it.
And at the last it success and they were so happy
they mix the juce between 2 cups and drink it.
What l want to say who watch this monky life will not hisitate to
accept the theory of Ape to Man more than the marvel creation
story of Adam.
But lf we ask ourselves again
who create the first Ape or the first living being?
I beleive that we will back to the point of the tremoundos power
who did that
and for sure it's GOD power.
