there’s so much that I want to say
a million words swirl in my heart
but now the feelings gone away
and I'm alone back at the start
with many words left here inside
a soul absurd that somehow died
when I believed in all you lied
but did I even really know you?
now all my words..they all are true
inside this heart they beg for you
but we both know what I must do
to leave my love behind you and bury
these words along with my heart
smear the ink across my soul
swallow the pain until I scream
my breath in the ashes to console
so all those words I want to say
incinerate them with our dream
and like a ghost that finally rests
I'll watch my soul rise with the steam
but not one day more will I cry
I burn those tears with all my poems
and never will I wish to die
when falling stars guide me back home.
