Focusing so intensely
upon the electronic paper to read my invitation…
my ears heard your voice pronouncing each and every word
while my newly formed tears fell to the ground
with the pulsing of each heartbeat.

And now…
once again we meet
in this exclusive masquerade club
where everyone is dressed up in their disguise.
There are actors, lawyers, poets, and such.

Sensing your presence,
I approach your glistening eyes
as they peer through your steel mask.
